Top Ten of Oh-Ten

Well, it's that time of year. Time to reflect on all those hours spent in the dark, staring at screens and scribbling notes. 2010 evokes some bad 3D memories (thanks Row Three for that gem). But not all movies this year required pseudo hipster glasses. In alphabetical order, my top picks from 2010:

1. A Prophet
2. Black Swan
3. Buried
4. Exit Through The Gift Shop
5. Fish Tank
6. Force of Nature: The David Suzuki Movie
7. Scott Pilgrim vs The World
8. Tamara Drewe
9. True Grit
10. White Ribbon

And those guilty pleasures:
1. Hot Tub Time Machine
2. Rare Exports
3. Salt

I don't think there's anything to feel guilty about in loving Rare Exports. It is a magnificent film!

Yay love for HTTM! : -D It was funny, and especially for a year with very very few films that got even a single laugh it stood out.
